报告英文简介: Graphite and styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene triblock copolymer (SEBS) can provide the polypropylene (PP) matrix with a greater stiffness and toughness, respectively. In this study, PP, SEBS, and graphite were blended and melt-compounded to prepare the PP/SEBS/graphite composites. The crystallization behavior of PP/SEBS/Graphite composites was investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and polarized light microscope (PM). Polarized light microscope pictures showed that the addition of SEBS resulted in a decreased spherulite size of polypropylene, thereby contributing to improving the toughness of the resulting blends, and the Izod pendulum impact resistance test showed that SEBS additions significantly enhanced the toughness of the resulting blends. Tensile test showed that graphite effectively restored the modulus and tensile strength of the resulting composites. As a result, the stiffness and toughness of PP/SEBS/Graphite composites maintained a good balance.
